スカラーメソンの質量スペクトラムの解明は強い相互作用の重要な課題である。本講演では、高励起スカラーメソンにおける新しいフレーバー９重項を提案するとともに、グルーボールの候補であるスカラーメソンの位置付けを考える。これらのスカラーメソンやグルーボールが重イオン衝突で生成される場合の生成量を統計モデルやコアレッセンスモデルで評価して内部構造による影響を議論する。
